Potato and bacon pie
Preparation
Peel and chop the potatoes, put them into a pot to boil with water and salt. Once boiled, strain them and mash them. To the mashed potatoes add the butter, grated cheese, milk, flour and finally the lightly-whisked eggs until you have a well-mixed paste. Grease a round pie tin with butter, line it with the bacon slices and fill it completely with the potato mixture. Place it in the oven at 180º for 30 minutes. Remove from the tin and it’s ready to serve.
Can be eaten either hot or cold.
Ingredients
1 kg of potatoes
200 g of Casademont bacon
50 g of grated cheese
50 g of butter
50 cc of milk
2 eggs
2 spoonfuls of flour
